Hugo I of Lusignan
Hugo I of Lusignan , called " the hunter " (Latin Venator ), was the first lord of Lusignan and the progenitor of the noble house of Lusignan . He is mentioned in the Chronicle of Saint-Maixent Abbey.
His son and successor was Hugo II of Lusignan , known as " the good one ", the builder of Lusignan Castle .
