Hugo III from Lusignan
Hugo III von Lusignan († 1012 ), called " the white " (lat. Albus ), was the third lord of Lusignan and probably the son of Hugo the Kind .
He confirmed the donation of the church of Mezeaux to the monastery of Saint-Cyprien by one of his vassals and granted the monastery the rights to use the woods and the road between Lusignan and Poitiers . He was probably close to the Count's court of Poitou, after all, Duchess Emma von Blois, wife of William IV of Aquitaine , taxed the monastery of Saint-Maixent , whose income Hugo received.
In 967 he married Arsendis . Their son Hugo IV of Lusignan , called " the brown one ", was his successor.
