Hugo Johnstone-Burt

Hugo Johnstone-Burt (* 1987 in Edinburgh ) is an Australian actor .

Life

Johnstone-Burt was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. At the age of two he moved to Sydney with his family . His parents were in the Navy.

At the age of 18, Johnstone-Burt applied to the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and was found too young. After spending some time traveling, he reapplied, this time successfully.

In 2009 he played Jack in Oscar Wilde's comedy Be Serious Is Everything or Bunbury . Since 2009 he has appeared in film and television productions as an actor.

In 2012, he played Constable Hugh Collins in the first season of Miss Fisher's Mysterious Murders . With 1.5 million viewers per episode, the series was very successful. In 2013 and 2015 he was cast again for the second and third seasons.
