Hugo Kalbe

Hugo Kalbe (born December 6, 1865 in Müncheberg , † March 27, 1940 in Korbach ) was a German master coppersmith and politician (Association of Craftsmen).

Kalbe was the son of the merchant Julius Kalbe and his wife Bertha nee Kupsch. He married Lina Dude from Obernburg on April 9, 1898 in Thalitter. Kalbe became a master coppersmith and later a district master craftsman and honorary master of his guild. He was the founder of the Kalbe installation company in Korbach. From 1925 to 1929 he was a member of the Waldeck State Representation for the Handwerkerbund .
