Hugo Raimund von Lamberg

Hugo Raimund Reichsgraf von Lamberg (born August 27, 1833 at Feistritz Castle , Styria , † April 19, 1884 in Aigen (Salzburg) ) was an Austrian administrative officer and governor of Salzburg .

Life

Von Lamberg took part in the war in Italy in 1859, in Schleswig-Holstein in 1864 and in the German war in 1866. After a brief activity in the Styrian state parliament, he moved to Salzburg in 1868. Since July 31, 1862 he was married to Bertha, née Countess Stolberg-Stolberg (born June 21, 1845 in Söder, † November 22, 1924 at Emsburg Palace in Salzburg-Hellbrunn). He lived in the famous Villa Trapp at the end of the 1860s . In 1871 he became a member of the Salzburg state parliament, and from September 30, 1872 to June 14, 1880 he was governor of the crown land of Salzburg.

In addition to his work as k. k. Administrative officer he was also known as a dialect writer .
