Hugo Wittmann (Mayor)

Hugo Wittmann (born June 8, 1882 , † after 1944) was a German businessman and local politician.

Career

Wiitmann was the owner of the Dräxlmaier brewery in Landshut . From 1930 to 1933 he was a member of the city council. After the invasion of the US Army, he declared himself ready on May 3, 1945 to take over the office of Lord Mayor . For health reasons, he had to resign on June 26, 1945 after two months.
