Huldreich Heusser
Huldreich Heusser (born November 1, 1889 in Switzerland ; † August 20, 1928 in Müncheberg ) was a German racing car driver .
He lived in Kleinschmalkalden and won the Gabelbach race near Ilmenau four times in a row between 1924 and 1927 as a private driver , and 22 hill climbs alone, e.g. B. 1923 on Wanderer 5/15 HP the race of the automobiles 6 HP for private drivers at the Solitude mountain price in Stuttgart or 1925 the mountain test to the high root near Wiesbaden .
Heusser died as a result of an accident that he and Otto Feldmann suffered while racing on the Buckower Dreieck on August 19, 1928. A memorial stone was erected in his honor on the road between Ilmenau and the forester's house Auerhahn not far from the Gabelbach hunting lodge . The cast iron plaque was made in 1929 by the sculptor Richard Bauroth . A memorial stone was also erected at the site of the accident near Buckow.
