Humphrey Blount
Sir Humphrey Blount of Kinlet (* around 1422, † 1477 ) was an English knight .
Life
He was a son of Sir John Blount of Dodington and Alice, daughter of Kynard Delabere. He was a nephew of Walter Blount, 1st Baron Mountjoy and a grandson of John Blount of Sodington († 1425).
He was the squire of Kinlet at Bridgnorth in Shropshire .
He was High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1461, 1466/67 and 1474 . During the Wars of the Roses fought Sir Humphrey for the House of York during the Battle of Ludlow (1459), in Towton (1461) and at the Battle of Tewkesbury (1471), where he of King Edward IV. The accolade as a Knight Bachelor received.
Sir Humphrey died in 1477 and is buried in St. John the Baptist Church in Kinlet.

Sir Humphrey was married to Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Robert Winnington.
