Hunor Szőcs (born March 24, 1992 in Târgu Mureş ) is a Romanian table tennis player . He plays in the Bundesliga for SV Werder Bremen . Hunor Szőcs has a younger sister, Bernadette Szőcs , who is also a Romanian table tennis player.

Career

Hunor Szőcs played for the Swiss club TTC Neuhausen , the German clubs TTS Borsum, TTC indeland Jülich and, since 2014, in the TTBL (table tennis Bundesliga) for SV Werder Bremen . After the European Championships in 2016 , at which he was able to beat Tiago Apolónia , who was in 5th position , for the first time, he was among the top 100 in the world rankings .
