The Hunt Spur is a rugged rock spur in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises from Mount Warden along the northwestern front of the Watson Escarpment .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after Glenn C. Hunt, aircraft electrician with the Navy flight squadron VX-6 during campaigns the operation Deep Freeze 1962-1966.
