Hunter Henry (* 7. December 1994 in Little Rock , Arkansas ) is an American American football poker players on the position of tight ends . He currently plays for the Los Angeles Chargers in the National Football League (NFL).
Early years
Henry went to high school in his hometown, Little Rock. He then attended the University of Arkansas . In 2015 he won the John Mackey Award , an award for the best tight end in college football . On January 4, 2016, he announced that he would be participating in the 2016 NFL Draft .
NFL
Henry was selected 35th by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft . On June 2, 2016, he signed a four-year contract with the Chargers. On the fourth day of the 2016 season , he scored his first NFL touchdown in the game against the New Orleans Saints . In total, he scored eight touchdowns in his rookie season.
