Hunter Hunted ( . Engl hunted hunter) is a 2D - Action game , which in 1996 for the PC has been released. The game was developed by Sierra On-Line .

action

prehistory

The earth was invaded by aliens at the end of the 20th century , who killed five billion people in a few days. That is, almost all of humanity has been exterminated. The survivors were enslaved by the so-called masters . The planet Kullrath fared similarly to the earth. The planet was inhabited by the beasts , which were now carried off to earth by the masters in camps.

Course of the game

The game is set in 2015. The masters could easily have exterminated the beasts and humans completely, but instead they pit both races against each other in arenas.

The player controls either Jake (human) or Gerro Denn (beast). Both have different skills. The first eight missions in single player mode are tutorial levels that bring the player closer to the controls. The next 22 show the player the environment, enemies, weapons and other objects. There are 35 missions in which the player is the hunter or the hunted. Now there are optionally 35 multiplayer missions (15 in cooperation mode and 20 in deathmatch mode ). During the single player missions, Jake must find hidden components for an escape vehicle in order to escape the masters . But he and Gerro Denn want to keep seven different opponents from doing so, who act more or less strongly against the two. But the two protagonists also have eight different weapons at their disposal (and even without weapons, both can defend themselves with punches). In addition to the vehicle parts, other power-ups such as food, medipacks, antidotes, armor parts and ammunition are hidden in the levels and can be very useful to Jack and Gerro Denn .
