The Hurdalsjøen is a lake in the municipalities Eidsvoll , Nannestad and Hurdal in the Norwegian province of Viken . Its runoff to Vorma forms the Andelva , on which the Bønsdalen power station and 4 other smaller hydroelectric power stations are located. The lake will be dammed 3 m from its original level. The main inflow into the lake is the Hurdalselva . Its area is 36.2 km², its length 19.2 km.
The catchment area of Hurdalssjøen is protected by Verneplan III . There is also a nature reserve to the north of the lake at the mouth of the Hurdalselva River. The Hurdalssjøen offers swimming and fishing opportunities as well as a rich wildlife.
