Vorma is a river in Norway that forms the drain of Lake Mjøsa . The river flows past Minnesund and flows into the Glomma at Nes .

The Vorma was so named because it is a “warm” river that rarely freezes over - in contrast to other rivers such as the Glomma and the Lågen in Gudbrandsdal . At the confluence of the Vorma and Glomma at Årnes and Nes lies Funnefoss , a 10 m high waterfall on the Glomma.
