Hurriyet.de is a German-language online news site with a focus on news from Turkey and on German-Turkish topics. The site is an offshoot of the well-known Turkish daily Hürriyet . In contrast to the Turkish-language Hürriyet and its European edition, both of which have final editing in Istanbul, Hurriyet.de is operated by an independent team of German and German-Turkish editors from the company's headquarters in Mörfelden-Walldorf near Frankfurt / M. are active.
