The Hvarchil Point (English; Bulgarian нос Хвърчил nos Chwartschil ) is an icy headland that forms the southwestern extension of Lecointe Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 8.08 km southwest of Mitchell Point , 7.25 km southwest of Cape Kaiser , 5.15 km northeast of Momino Point and 2.7 km east of Bov Point .

British scientists mapped it in 1980 and 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the town of Khwartschil in western Bulgaria .
