The Bov Point (English; Bulgarian нос Бов nos Bow ) is a headland on the east coast of the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is 9.36 km southwest of Mitchell Point , 2.7 km west of Hvarchil Point of Lecointe Island , 3.35 km north-northeast of Momino Point and 2.7 km east-southeast of Podem Peak , of which it is the extension, on the north side of the Entrance to Kayak Bay .
British scientists mapped it in 1980 and 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the village of Bow in western Bulgaria .
