Hyacinthe Jadin
Hyacinthe Jadin (born April 27, 1776 in Versailles , France , † September 27, 1800 in Paris ) was a French composer . He was the brother of Louis Emmanuel Jadin . Her father Jean-Baptiste Jadin (violinist in the Royal Orchestra) and her uncle Georges Jadin were also composers in Versailles and Paris.
Life
Hyacinthe Jadin was a student of Nicolas-Joseph Hüllmandel , who belonged to the important École des Pianistes Parisiens and was therefore certainly an excellent teacher. His teaching was the solid foundation that made Hyacinthe Jadin a brilliant pianist. At the age of 13 he was already performing his own compositions at the Concert spirituel . Due to a tuberculosis disease, he gave his last public concert on September 22nd, 1799 and died a year later.
From 1795 he taught the women's piano class at the Paris Conservatory . Both Hyacinthe and his brother Louis Emmanuel belong to the circle of French revolutionary composers who contributed to the development of a brass orchestra style in the late 18th century.
In some twists and turns, his music anticipates the music of Franz Schubert . His piano works in particular show a proto-romantic stance that both negates and extends the stylistics of musical classical music.
