Hysni Ismaili
Hysni Ismaili ( Macedonian Хусни Исмаили ; * 1963 in Tetovo ) is a North Macedonian medic and politician. He has been the Minister of Culture of North Macedonia since 2019.
Life
Ismaili graduated from high school in Tetovo and then studied medicine at the University of Skopje , followed by postgraduate studies at the University of Tuzla . He worked as a family doctor in Tetovo and taught as a professor at the Tetovo Medical School and as a lecturer at the Tetovo State University .
He was also active in the Albanian-language publishing industry and has published radio plays and cultural programs for radio as well as documentaries.
He belongs to the Alternativea party , which was founded in February 2019 as a spin-off from Besa . As the successor to the resigned Asaf Ademi , he became Minister of Culture in the government of Zoran Zaev on June 26, 2019 .
