INK is a 2010 French animated series by Prakash Topsy. The series was produced by Samka Productions in collaboration with France 3 .
action
Friends Vin, Zero, Trixie and Newton attend Pinkerton Private School. Headmaster Cosmo Soper tries to design his school in such a way that the students enjoy going to school. This is a thorn in the side of the mean, sadistic , child-hating teacher Sadie Macbeth. With all sorts of different plans and self-made equipment, she tries again and again to enslave the students and make them (in her opinion) well-behaved. Their nasty plans are always thwarted by Vin, Zero, Trixie and Newton and their secret organization INK, the children's incognito network. At the end of each episode, the basic idea behind the episode is explained by Mr. Soper.
characters
Vin is the founder of the network and always concerned about his hair and looks. He is an orphan and is afraid of knowing who his parents are. In some episodes it becomes apparent that he has serious feelings for Zero, which he repeatedly denies.
Zero is a pale rebel and the main protagonist during the missions against Macbeth. She is a fighter by nature and stands by her friends. Once she ran away from home. It also turns out that she's terrified of a giant soup chicken. She also has feelings for Vin, but never admits them.
Trixie is the head of INK and the head of the organization. She is very intelligent and a chess genius. She coordinates the operations and always comes up with the best plans to stop Macbeth. She is terrified of a "metronome monster" because as a small child she was always afraid of a metronome.
Newton is the inventor of the organization. He is the second youngest child in Pinkerton and therefore extremely perfectionist as he always wants to give 100%. His father is a well-known and successful scientist, which is why Newton wants to be like him. However, his technical gadgets are sometimes a thorn in the side of the other students.
Miss Sadie MacBeth is a teacher at Pinkerton School and is constantly trying to use all means to usurp power. With her sometimes crazy plans she tries again and again to make the students "calm and obedient". She has a goldfish named Wagner who also seems to be her only friend. She's also very fond of music, having been a child star 30 years ago as Valentine Magnolia. Therefore, she sings a song about her evil deed in every episode. However, their plans are always stopped by INK. She is the main protagonist in the Looked Through Short films. She is also the only one who knows about the network.
Mister Cosmo Soper is the kind hearted Headmaster of Pinkerton. He always has an open ear for his students and abhors all forms of bullying and violence . He is very popular with his students, parents and the authorities. Like all the other students, he has no idea that INK exists.
Burt , along with his best friends Hector and little Fred, is one of the school thugs at Pinkerton.
Hector is friends with Burt and Fred and seems to be one of the brightest kids at Pinkerton School.
Little Fred is friends with Burt and Hector and the youngest child at Pinkerton School. He wants to be a cop when he grows up.
