The 3rd IBSA World Championships , (English: IBSA World Games or IBSA World Championships and Games ), the International Blind Sports Federation (International Blind Sports Federation ), were held from July 28th to August 8th 2007 in the Brazilian cities of São Paulo and São Caetano do Sul . The organizer was the Brazilian Blind Sports Association (CBDC).

This time the competitions included weightlifting , goalball , judo , athletics , swimming and, instead of tandem races, now blind football .

1,600 participants came from 63 countries. The Brazilian team was the largest with 102 athletes and competed in all sports. Of the Arab countries, Algeria provided the largest delegation with 25 athletes, followed by Iraq and Lebanon with six people each and Tunisia with four athletes.

The eleven German athletes won seven medals, one gold, four silver and two bronze.
