IFM-SEI stands for International Falcon Movement - Socialist Educational International (German: Internationale Falkenbewegung - Sozialistische Erziehungsinternationale ).
The IFM is the international association of 57 social democratic and socialist oriented children, youth and family organizations. In the German-speaking area these are the SJD - Die Falken (Germany) and the Red Falcons in Austria and Switzerland.
The IFM works with the Socialist International as well as with the Socialist Youth International (IUSY) and the European Young Socialists (YES). The IFM-SEI is still a member of the European Youth Forum . IFM is based in Brussels . The previous organization was founded in Klessheim near Salzburg in 1922 . The actual establishment took place in Hanover in 1924 .
