iM1 Hits was a German music television station based in Frankfurt am Main . iM1 Hits was an offshoot of the music channel iM1 operated by 360 Television GmbH. iM1 Hits launched on April 7, 2014, replacing iM1, which was broadcast via satellite and cable. Since then iM1 could only be received via IPTV .

program

iM1 Hits described itself as an interactive music channel and broadcast current music videos around the clock, which were interrupted by advertising. The music videos were able to be voted high by showing numbers via a chargeable SMS system. In May 2014, a live chat was added, in which viewers can chat with the iM1 editorial team and share their music requests. A photo upload was also available since June 2014.

Cessation of transmission

On August 14, 2014 the broadcasting of iM1 Hits was interrupted. Since then, a notice board has been sent via satellite with the note “Short sound check - we'll go on soon”. On August 18, 2014, a notice board was put up via the cable network of Unitymedia Kabel BW , which indicates the end of broadcasting operations. The station could no longer be reached by telephone. On September 1, 2014 iM1 Hits was finally switched off.
