Jewish Restitution Successor Organization

The Jewish Restitution Successor Organization Inc. (JRSO, also IRSO; German: Jewish Restitution Successor Organization ), based in New York , was founded in 1948 by various American and international Jewish organizations.

Their aim was to restitute the heirless property of private individuals as well as the property of institutions and organizations that were racially persecuted and expropriated as "Jewish" and later murdered or dissolved in restitution proceedings in the American zone of occupation and in the American sector in Berlin had been.
