IT-Administrator - The magazine for professional system and network administration is a computer magazine founded in 2004 , which appears in German. The magazine is published by Heinemann Verlag. It is a trade journal for system and network administrators. In addition to product tests and technical background reports, the main focus of the magazine is on the articles that are intended to support everyday professional life. This includes workshops, tips and tricks and reports on the use of different products.

The admin magazine published by Medialinx AG was taken over by Heinemann Verlag in April 2014 and integrated into the IT-Administrator magazine.

Frequency of publication

The magazine has been published monthly since September 2004. Since 2008, the IT administrator editorial team has been publishing a special issue twice a year in addition to the twelve regular monthly issues.
