The Linux New Media AG AG is a media company based in Munich worldwide and offices in five countries. It was founded in 1994 as Articon GmbH and emerged from Linux New Media AG through a name change in 2012 .

Business areas

Medialinx AG is active in six business areas: Linux New Media , business IT specialist media , mobile operating systems , events & learning , publishing services and international media :

  • The specialist media divisions issue more than 30 print and online publications. German-language magazines such as Linux-Magazin , LinuxUser , EasyLinux , Ubuntu User and also Raspberry Pi Geek were sold to Computec Media in September 2014 . The admin magazine was taken over by Heinemann Verlag in April 2014 and integrated into the IT administrator .
  • The Events & Learning division organizes events and trade fair platforms such as "CeBIT Open Source", face-to-face and online training from the IT Academy and webinars .
  • The Publishing Service division offers other services for publishers in the areas of corporate publishing , media creation, subscriber service and international marketing.
  • The International Media division includes all international magazines that are produced in Spain , Great Britain , the USA , Poland and Brazil .

Medialinx AG offers national and international marketing opportunities, such as B. cross-media packages, online campaigns, printed and online advertisements , sponsorship of events and collaborations.
