action

The protagonist is the 35-year-old unsuccessful manga artist Hideo Suzuki ( 鈴木 英雄 ), who has to get by as a manga assistant because no publisher wants to publish his series because the characters are too boring. The only bright spot in his life is his girlfriend Tetsuko Kurokawa ( 黒 川 徹 子 ), known as Tekko. One day a strange disease called ZQN breaks out that turns people into zombies and Tekko falls victim to it, so he has to kill her in self-defense.

Only armed with a shotgun and a backpack, Hideo has to flee from the city and fight for survival, always considering the big question of whether the zombies or the other people are the greater danger.
