I Just Want to Make Love to You is a blues song that Willie Dixon wrote for Muddy Waters . It was initially called Just Make Love to Me , was published on Chess (Cat. No. 1571) in 1954 and was a great success (No. 4 on the Billboard Black Singles Chart). The song was recorded again by Waters in 1968 for his album Electric Mud .
