I Wanna Be Adored is a song by British alternative rock band The Stone Roses . It is the third single from their debut album The Stone Roses . I Wanna Be Adored acts as the opening track of the album.

In the United States , the song was added to the single release by Fools Gold as a bonus track and reached number 18 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in February 1990 . The song was released as a single on September 2, 1991. In the British singles charts , the song reached number 20 after its release in September 1991.
