Ian Azzopardi (born August 12, 1982 in Żejtun ) is a Maltese football player.

Ian began playing football at Floriana FC , where he was allowed to participate in the professional squad from the 2000/01 season. There he became a regular player. Due to a lack of prospects and success, he switched to Sliema Wanderers in the summer of 2007 . After three seasons he was signed by Valletta FC . There he was able to win the Maltese championship in the 2010/11 , 2011/12 , 2013/14 and 2015/16 seasons . In early 2017 he left the club to join Gżira United . He came to FC St. Andrews in summer 2019 through Senglea Athletics and Żejtun Corinthians .

In the national team, he made his debut in 2003. By 2009, he completed a total of 40 international matches, where he scored a goal against Estonia on August 20, 2008 in a friendly.
