Ian Morson

Ian Morson (born January 1, 1947 in Derby , Derbyshire ) is an English writer.

Life

After finishing school, Morson worked for a few years in Mevagissey ( Cornwall ). His first literary attempts date from this time. Morson is a member of the Medieval Murderer Group , a group of English writers dedicated to the historical novel . Since his novels developed from the beginning to a great success with readers as well as critics, Morson gave up all tasks after a while and from then on devoted himself only to writing.

Ian Morson currently (2011) lives near Paphos on the island of Cyprus .

reception

Morson created his protagonist “Master Falconer”, who as a lecturer at the University of Oxford has been able to solve crimes in eight volumes so far (2011). Morson designed another cycle around “Niccolò Zuliani”, of which two volumes have so far been published.
