Iasos (son of Sphelos)

Iasos ( ancient Greek Ἴασος ) is a person from Greek mythology .

He appears in Homer's Iliad as the son of Sphelos and the grandson of Bukolus . He is the leader of the Athenians in the Troian War , when the Troians attack the Achaean camp , he is killed together with Medon by Aeneas .
