Ibrahim Gnanou (born November 8, 1986 in Ouagadougou ) is a football player from the West African state of Burkina Faso .

He started his career at ASFA-Yennenga Ouagadougou in the Burkinabe capital and from there moved to Moldova to work with Sheriff Tiraspol . From there he came to the Danish club FC Midtjylland in 2008 and in 2009 to Alania Wladikawkas in the second Russian division. At the end of the season, he was promoted to the Premjer League , but was relegated again after one season. In 2011 Gnanou was with Alania in the final of the Russian Cup competition, in which they lost to CSKA Moscow with 1: 2. His team managed the feat of not having scored a single goal until the final, in all previous games they secured progress after a 0-0 penalty shoot-out.

Gnanou has played for the Burkinabe national soccer team since 2005 . In 2010 he was part of national coach Paulo Duarte's squad at the African Cup of Nations .
