Ibrahim Oyala Touré (born September 27, 1985 in Bouaké , † June 19, 2014 in Manchester , England ) was an Ivorian football player . He was the brother of Yaya and Kolo Touré .

Life

Touré began his professional football career with the Ukrainian club Metalurh Donetsk in 2003. After being active there for three years, he moved to France in 2006 and joined OGC Nice . In 2009 he left Europe and signed a contract with the Syrian club Al-Ittihad Aleppo . After a year in Aleppo, he moved to Misr El-Makasa SC in Egypt. In 2012 a short loan deal to Telephonat Beni Suef SC followed . From 2013 he worked for Safa SC Beirut in Lebanon.

death

Ibrahim Touré died in Manchester on June 19, 2014 , after being recently diagnosed with cancer. His brothers were at the time with the Ivory Coast national team at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. They turned down an offer from the Ivorian federation that would have allowed them to travel home and played the tournament to the end.
