history

Icejet was founded in 2005 and currently operates an aircraft that is used in charter for private individuals and companies. The company is owned by Nordic Partners and was founded by Jon Ingi Jonsson, who was involved in the founding of City Star Airlines in 2003 . Although Icejet was an Icelandic airline, none of its four aircraft were stationed in Iceland in mid-2010, but two at Oxford Airport, one at Paris-Le Bourget Airport and another in Riga . In mid-2010, Icejet stopped flight operations at short notice, but it was resumed in autumn of the same year, albeit with a reduced fleet. In the meantime, however, operations have ceased and the company's website is no longer available.
