Yew Cheng Hoe

Yew Cheng Hoe (* 1943 ) is a former Malaysian badminton player .

Career

Yew Cheng Hoe recorded as the greatest success winning the Thomas Cup in 1967 , the world championship for men's badminton teams. In the final against Indonesia he lost a singles to Rudy Hartono , but won his second game against Ferry Sonneville . In the individual disciplines, he won the Malaysian Open in 1963 . In 1962 he was third in the men's singles and winner with the Malaysian men's team at the Asian Championships .
