Icenhower Ridge is a 1600 m high, wide and mainly icy mountain range in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range of the Transantarctic Mountains , it extends between the Yancey and Sennet glaciers .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 based on the naming of the Byrd and Sennet glaciers after Joseph Bryan Icenhower (1913-1994), captain of the USS Sennet , one of the Operation Highjump (1946-1947) the leadership of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd used submarine of the United States Navy .
