The Yancey Glacier is a steeply sloping glacier in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range, it flows from the vicinity of Mount McClintock in an initially east, then south-east direction immediately west of the Sennet Glacier to the Byrd Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1965 after the USS Yancey , a transport ship of the United States Navy used in the US Operation Highjump (1946-1947) .
