Ida Odén (born April 14, 1987 in Borås ) is a former Swedish handball player .

Career

Odén started playing handball in her hometown at Borås HK. In 2005, the back player joined the Swedish first division club IK Sävehof . With Sävehof she won the Swedish championship in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. In June 2015 Odén announced her pregnancy and the end of her career. After giving birth to a son in December 2015, Odén announced her comeback in February 2016. In 2016 and 2018 she won two more championship titles. After the 2017/18 season, she ended her career.

Odén played 54 games for the Swedish national team , in which they scored 135 goals. At the 2014 European Championships , she won the bronze medal with Sweden.

Odén was part of the IK Sävehof coaching team in the 2015/16 season.

Private

Odén is married to the Swedish handball player Robert Odén .
