Idala is a district of Veberöd ( tatort ) in the southern Swedish province of Skåne län and the historic province of Skåne .

Idala, located southeast of Lund in the municipality of Lund , is a purely residential area, which is mainly characterized by summer houses. Most of the population commutes to the cities of Lund and Dalby .

Before 2015, Idala was an independent crime scene with the last (2010) 738 inhabitants, until it actually merged with Veberöd in the north, the center of which is about two kilometers away.
