Idelta Maria Rodrigues (born March 1, 1973 ) is a politician from East Timor . She is a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.

Political career

In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007 she was elected to the National Parliament of East Timor via the CNRT's party list, but had to give up her seat as she was appointed to the cabinet as State Secretary for Equality . After the new elections in 2012 , she was sworn in as State Secretary for the Promotion of Equality (SEPI) in the Fifth Constitutional Government . With the government reshuffle on February 16, 2015, Rodrigues resigned from the East Timorese cabinet .

Rodrigues holds an engineering degree and has been President of the Scout Association of East Timor (UNE-TL) since 2011 .
