Ids Willemsma
Ids Willemsma (born August 8, 1949 in Akkrum ) is a Dutch sculptor .
life and work
Willemsma studied between 1969 and 1972 at the Academie Vredeman de Vries in Leeuwarden . Characteristic of his sculptural work are the large sculptures made of steel (including Corten steel ) that are placed in several locations in the northern Netherlands. In addition to his work as a sculptor, he also works as a draftsman.
He lives and works in Oosterwierum .
