Ignacio Bergara , full name Ignacio Miguel Bergara de Medina , (born July 20, 1940 in Montevideo , † January 4, 2004 in Ibiza , Spain ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Midfielder Bergara was in the ranks of the Montevidean racing club in 1958 . After Bergara made 15 top division appearances for RCD Mallorca in the 1962/63 season in Spain , he joined its league rivals Espanyol Barcelona from 1964 to 1969 . There are 51 games in the Primera División for Bergara in this period , in which he scored seven goals. From 1969 to 1972 he played for UE Sant Andreu . In these three seasons of the Segunda División, he completed 58 games and scored twice.
National team
Bergara took part with the Uruguayan junior national team at the Junior South American Championship in 1958 and won the title with this team. During the tournament he was used by coach Juan Aguilar five times (no goal).
