Ignas Dedura (born January 6, 1978 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian football player .

Career

Ignas Dedura started his professional career in 1996 at FBK Kaunas in Lithuania. In the 1999 season, the club briefly renamed itself FK Zalgiris Kaunas and won the Lithuanian championship for the first time at the end of the year. After the club had renamed itself back, Ignas Dedura stayed in Lithuania for another season and won the second championship for FBK Kaunas. He moved abroad for the first time in 2001 and signed with Torpedo Moscow . At Torpedo, however, he only played ten games and moved to Skonto Riga in Latvia during the season . Dedura had its most successful time in Riga. Between 2001 and 2004 he won the Latvian championship four times in a row and in 2001 and 2002 he even won the national double with the trophy. At the end of 2004 he moved back to Russia. He signed with Spartak Moscow , where he only made 42 appearances in league games in five years. He was also often used in the second team of Spartak, where he completed a total of 52 games and scored four goals.

Dedura has been a Lithuanian national player since 1997 . So far, he has completed 45 international matches and scored one goal.
