The Ignatz Bubis Prize has been awarded since 2001 either to an individual or to an institution or organization whose public work is shaped by the values ​​embodied by Ignatz Bubis. The prize is intended to honor the life's work and personality of Ignatz Bubis . Endowment

The Ignatz Bubis Prize is endowed with 50,000 euros and is awarded every three years.

Board of Trustees

Award

The Ignatz Bubis Prize for Understanding is awarded in the Paulskirche in Frankfurt , where a calligraphic certificate is presented by the Lord Mayor after the laudatory speech given by a third party.
