Uwe Bartsch

Uwe Bartsch (born July 20, 1954 in Berlin ) is a German CDU politician .

Life

From 1971 to 1975 Uwe Bartsch completed vocational training as an electrician . From 1975 to 1980 he completed an evening course to become an engineer for electrical power systems. He then ran his own company until 1998.

Uwe Bartsch is married and has two sons.

Political party

In 1994 Uwe Bartsch was elected to the state executive committee of the CDU Brandenburg . At the state party conference on November 28, 2009, he was re-elected as an assessor in the state board of the CDU Brandenburg.

From 1995 to 2005 Uwe Bartsch was district chairman of the CDU Barnim. In December 2005 he lost the vote for the chairmanship of the CDU Barnim after violent power struggles within the party.

In 1994, Uwe Bartsch became a member of the Brandenburg state parliament through the state list of the CDU Brandenburg , spokesman for medium-sized businesses for the CDU parliamentary group, member of the committee for economics , working group leader for economics, finance , science , research , culture and budgetary control.

In the local elections in 2003, Bartsch was elected to the Barnim district council and confirmed in 2008.

Uwe Bartsch was unable to win a seat in the Brandenburg state election in 2004 in the Barnim II constituency . With 17.5% he was unable to assert himself against Dagmar Enkelmann , who received the most votes and received the direct mandate.

He is president of the FSV Bernau . He has also been supporting the cooperation between the city of Bernau and the Hertha BSC football club from Berlin since 2003 .
