Ignaz Killiches
Ignaz Franz Killiches (born April 15, 1793 in Plaßdorf ; † January 16, 1877 in Brüx ) was a Bohemian doctor.
Killiches was a city physician and surgeon in the city of Brüx . On September 19, 1835, Emperor Ferdinand and his wife stayed at Killiches in house no. 40 before traveling on to Teplitz . On April 12, 1851, Killiches was elected to the National Guard Committee. According to the chronicle, he was “a skilled doctor, surgeon and true philanthropist who did a great job for the city [= Brüx] and its poor. He treated the needy citizens free of charge and on top of that gave them money for better health food. During the cholera epidemic in 1866 - despite his old age - he performed his service with great sacrifice. "
