Community structure
The municipality Místo consists of the districts Blahuňov ( Plaßdorf ), Místo ( place ) and Vysoká Jedle ( Hohentann ), which also form cadastral districts.
history
The place is an old mining settlement of the Hassenstein rule. The history of the town is closely connected to the family of the Lobkowicz von Hassenstein family. With the mining privilege granted to Hassenstein in 1459, which included all places within three miles of the surrounding area, Platz became a mining town. However, iron ore mining at Platz and Hohentann was not very productive.
Platz belonged to the Office of Hassenstein, the official acts were carried out at Hassenstein Castle as long as it was still inhabited. Later it belonged to the Hagensdorf ( Ahníkov ) rule , which was united with Brunnersdorf in 1773 and dissolved in 1927.
Místo has lost its town charter over time.
