history

The first written mention of the village belonging to the Rothenhaus rule was in 1295.

Since the 19th century, lignite mining began in several shafts in the vicinity of the village. In 1847 141 people lived in the 26 houses of the village. In the same year a brick factory was founded in Tschern. Tschern was always subservient to Rothenhaus; there was a manorial farm in the village.

After the abolition of patrimonial Tschern / Všehrdy formed from 1850 a political municipality in the judicial district Komotau or district Komotau . In 1868 the place was assigned to the judicial district of Komotau. In 1894 the village had 240 inhabitants and consisted of 36 houses. In 1930 there were 252 people in Tschern. The inhabitants of the village lived mainly from agriculture or worked in brickworks. The school and pastor's location was Pritschapl. After the Munich Agreement , the community was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Komotau district until 1945 . In 1939 Tschern had 243 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the place came back to Czechoslovakia and the German residents were expelled . In the second half of the 20th century the brickworks ceased operations. The largest employer in the village was the state estate, some of the residents worked in the Chomutov factories. The prison was inaugurated in 1958. At the beginning of 1981 Všehrdy was incorporated into Údlice . The community has existed again since 1990. The prison has been expanding since the 1980s and apartment blocks were built for the staff. Since the last expansion in June 2007, the youth detention center for men has 599 places.
