Igor Čillík (born January 21, 1967 in Bratislava , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Slovak ice hockey player who has both a Slovak and a German citizenship .

Career

Čillík played since 1996 at EC Devils Königsborn, with whom he was active in what was then the second highest German division, the 1st League North . There, the trained striker initially played two games in his first season and was unable to score a point. After another season with the Haßfurter Sharks 2nd League South and EC Lünen , he joined the regional division EHC Dortmund in the summer of 1998 . There was the then 31-year-old, with the exception of the 2004/05 season , where he returned to Königsborn for a one-year interlude, in the following nine years in the Elche squad . During this time, the native Slovak was able to set several club-internal player records. He is the record player with a total of 300 league games, the record scorer with 537 points, the top scorer with 272 goals and the record holder in the record template category with 265 assists. The best game year in the EHC jersey completed the left-handed shooter in the 2000/01 season, when he was able to achieve 79 points in 42 missions and was thus one of the best attackers in the league.

With the EHC Dortmund he could not celebrate any successes worth mentioning and only reached the promotion round to the league in the 2005/06 season . At the end of the 2006/07 season he left his long-term employer and moved within the league to the Königsborner JEC, for which he was already active in 1996 and in the 2004/05 season. In 2010 he finally moved in the current 2010/11 Oberliga season to the league competitor and direct neighbor Lippe Hockey Hamm, where he ended his career at the end of the season.
